The Briefing Room is a library of timely reports, directives, policies, laws and initiatives that govern the establishment and implementation of secure communications with regard to U.S. federal agencies and the U.S. Armed Services and its allies. The Briefing Room serves to identify documents that are deemed relative and insightful with the goal to more broadly disseminate such information for the purpose of educating specific audiences as to the needs and requirements of secure communications as it relates to national security. This section is designed to provide further insight and better understanding of the actual meaning, application and implementation of such documents. This section of the IAU Web site only contains information which is already in the public domain and is neither classified nor sensitive in nature.
